Data Deletion Instructions

1. Website visitors and people who contacted us

Email privacy@hyaiplatform.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include your name and the email address or phone number you used to contact us.

• We may ask for more information to verify your identity.
• We complete your request within one month and let you know.
• Records we must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept until the legal period ends.

2. If you messaged a business on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger

The business you messaged is the controller of your data; HY processes it on the business’s behalf. Please send your deletion request to that business first. The business can export or delete your records using tools in HY.

If you cannot reach the business, email privacy@hyaiplatform.com with the business’s name and the phone number or username you used. We will pass your request on and tell you the outcome.

3. Businesses using HY

To delete your HY account and your business’s data, email hello@hyaiplatform.com from the account owner’s email address. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verifying the request, subject to legal retention duties.

4. Removing a Meta connection

You can remove a WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger account connected to HY with “Remove connection” on the Connections screen in HY. You can also remove HY’s access to your Facebook account in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations.
